The IPMALeaders list is designed specifically for members who hold leadership positions in IPMA-HR, or its Chapter and Regional level affiliates. Members discuss IPMA-HR policy, make decisions and network. Join the list now!

General Guidelines

While each list has its own rules and practices, there are a few general guidelines:

  • Commercial announcements and advertisements are NOT appropriate for these lists. IPMA-HR will remove repeated offenders of this policy from the list.
  • This service is being provided by IPMA-HR, but the opinions expressed by subscribers do not necessarily reflect the opinions and beliefs of IPMA-HR.
  • Do not post any defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive or illegal material on the these lists.

Administrative Guidelines
When a listserv subscriber sends a message to either listserv, the message is distributed to the listserve's members. When members reply to a message, they send one answer to the list and it subsequently is forwarded to all of the lists members.

Posting to the list:
Be sure to use this address ONLY when you want to send mail to the list. Do not use this address to issue administrative commands described in the next section.

To Unsubscribe:
Email the webmaster with administrative requests, such as unsubscribing.

Other Rules For Communicating Through Either List:
To facilitate use of the listservs, we suggest the following:

  • Include your name and e-mail address in the text of your messages so that members can reply to you off list, if necessary.
  • Please use a descriptive header in your Subject line. This will help users identify messages they wish to respond to and read.
