The Long-Range Strategic Plan Taskforce reviewed the IPMA-HR Long-Range Strategic Plan. The Taskforce believed that the Long-Range Strategic Plan is on target and does a good job of defining the most important goals and objectives on which the association should focus. The Taskforce suggested several modifications to the IPMA-HR Long-Range Strategic Plan. These modifications were approved by the IPMA-HR Executive Council at its September 24th meeting in Chicago.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (Oct. 25, 2011) - Budget woes are hitting public sector employers hard—and the effects are going to be felt in their employee benefits programs. That’s according to a new survey conducted by Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company with members of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources last month.
The International Public Management Association for Human Resources is currently looking for members interested in serving on IPMA-HR committees and taskforces. Those taskforces and committees in need of members for 2012 are the Awards, Benchmarking, Fellowship, and Nominating committees (only one vacancy in the Nominating Committee), the Successful Practices and Legislative taskforces, and the Certification Advisory Board (individuals must be certified to serve on the Certification Advisory Board).
