ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR) and Fox Lawson & Associates, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, conducted an online survey of IPMA-HR members concerning their current compensation and classification philosophies and practices. Data was collected from 200 organizations across the country during the month of December 2011.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - According to the Eighth Annual Employment Outlook Survey by the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR), 55 percent of public sector employers are planning to hire for new positions in 2012, compared to 48 percent last year and 45 percent in 2010. The number still falls short of pre-recession levels, when the number was closer to 75 percent.
