Successful practices are programs that were implemented to bring success to organizations as well as those that are designed to meet new challenges. The IPMA-HR Successful Practices task force, chaired by Sam Wilkins, Director, Office of Human Resources, South Carolina (click here for a list of all committee members) created the following criteria to assist in identifying successful practices:

These practices are updated as new material is made available to IPMA-HR. The purpose is to encourage excellence in public HR by providing information to our members about programs that have been successful in the public sector.
