The Chapter’s official title is SE COAST HR and was chartered in 2004 as a local chapter of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR). It was established by Public Sector Human Resources Professionals from Southeastern Massachusetts who were looking for an effective method to network, share information, and use a regional approach to provide professional development opportunities for themselves and their organizations.

Membership Benefits

Membership is available to any individual or employer who is engaged in work related to the practice or teaching of public sector human resources management. This chapter represents the Southeastern portion of Massachusetts including the following counties: Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Nantucket, Norfolk, and Plymouth. Dues are $15 for members of National IPMA-HR, $40 for non members and cover the period July 1 to June 30.

As a member of SE Coast HR, you will be exposed to new ideas and innovations in the field of human resource management and will be better prepared to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing profession. You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of professional and social events with colleagues from Southeastern Massachusetts. Through membership in this chapter you will meet with people who share similar professional interests and face similar day-to-day challenges in their jobs.
