Human Resources is hiring a Human Resources Analyst. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fun environment. This Human Resources Analyst will have a unique role to support our Housing and Human Services (HHS) department under the direction of a human resources manager who also supports HHS in the areas of: compensation and reorganization analysis, inclusive hiring practices, reporting, survey analysis, special projects and more. This role will be key to supporting a large department with human resources practices and policies.
This is a full-time, benefited position with Boulder County. Work hours are generally Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, however the possibility for a 5 day/week schedule exists.
*Please note that we are currently under a stay-at-home order but the Human Resources Analyst will work out of Boulder, CO once the order is lifted.
Under FLSA guidelines, this position is exempt from overtime.
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Examples of Duties
Teaches and supports supervisors in recruitment and onboarding processes in HHS.
Participates in interview panels and supports hiring managers in inclusive hiring.
Teaches and guides supervisors from recruitment to onboarding of new employees.
Provides technical Human Resources assistance to the HHS department applicants, and the general public regarding recruitment processes.
May perform job audits and make classification recommendations to HR managers.
Reviews and recommends personnel actions in the areas of hiring, discipline, and termination.
Assists with preliminary disciplinary review, including editing disciplinary documents and coordinating data collection.
Utilized data analysis to make data understandable and actionable.
Conducts preliminary equity analysis for hiring requests.
Completes special projects.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Boulder County is looking for well-qualified candidates to fill our positions. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of 6 years of combined education and experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred) (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Applicants must demonstrate proficiency at the time of the pre-employment screening process.
Bilingual skills: (preferred) Applicants must demonstrate fluency at the time of the pre-employment screening process. Spanish language proficiency will be determined through standardized demonstration and written and oral testing.
