Wilsonville has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a small team that manages the citywide day-to-day human resources and risk management operations. In this position, you’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive team through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices. You will also rely on your expertise of applicable employment laws and best practices to interpret and apply policies and collective bargaining agreements, helping address workplace concerns. Key performance areas include records and HRIS management, recruitment and selection, classification and job evaluation, and employee benefits and programs.  The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, customer-service focused individual who is skilled at providing strategic and tactical HR support.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, public administration, or related field and at least two (2) years of professional experience in human resources, or at least five years of progressively responsible, professional experience in human resources.  Experience in municipal human resources and SHRM-CP or IPMA-HR CP certification preferred.
