The Department of Human Resources is developing citywide initiatives that have positive impacts throughout the organization. The Department has developed succession planning, employee wellness and employee engagement initiatives to support positive organizational advancement for the City of Sunnyvale. Under general direction, the Human Resources Analyst performs difficult and responsible professional level human resources work; develops, plans, implements and administers assigned program responsibilities; conducts research, analysis and preparation of reports; and, performs other related duties as assigned. This position will be responsible for the management of the City's non-industrial leaves program. The position will also assist in coordinating city-wide change management activities for the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Enterprise Resource Program (ERP).
The minimum qualifications for education and experience can be met in the following way:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in personnel administration, business, public administration or a related field, and two years of technical or professional level human resources experience.
