The City of North Las Vegas is seeking a highly motivated individual that plays a critical role in developing and executing proactive strategies to meet the recruitment and talent needs of the City’s Human Resources activities, including identifying opportunities to innovate and streamline the hiring experience by leveraging technology, analyzing data and metrics, and staying abreast of industry trends. Strong candidates will be equally adept at attracting highly qualified candidates to work at the City of North Las Vegas, developing talent sources and creating an ongoing talent pipeline; partners with hiring managers to anticipate talent needs, including succession planning; manages applicants from application through the hiring process and to onboarding; and will bring a strong diverse, inclusive, and equitable perspective to talent acquisition.

Job Requirements

Under the leadership of the Talent Acquisition Manager, this position is responsible for implementing a wide range of full-cycle recruitment activities for the City of North Las Vegas. This includes evaluating vacant positions, creating hiring plans, sourcing candidates, processing offers, oversight of background checks, providing quality customer service, and working with hiring managers, creating overall positive candidate experiences; and performs all related duties as assigned.
