Regions do not have members. The role of the Region is to be the liaison between the National Organization and the Chapters.

The role of the Chapter is to provide its members with local networking and educational opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Be a resource for comprehensive and timely public sector HR industry news, jobs, policies, resources, education, and professional development opportunities.
Promote excellence in public sector HR management.
Provide an identity and forum for public sector HR members.

Adhering to all provisions in the Region Affiliation Agreement
Maintaining national membership for the Region’s president and president-elect throughout their tenure
Promoting IPMA-HR membership at programs, and through its communications, website, and social media

Adhering to all provisions in the Chapter Affiliation Agreement
Maintaining national membership for the Chapter’s president and president-elect throughout their tenure
Maintain at least 10 members
