IPMA-HR Submits Comments on Proposed FLSA Regular Rate Regulations

The Association joined the International Municipal Lawyers Association and several other nonprofit public sector groups in commenting on proposed updates to regular rate rules under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Specific issues addressed in the comments include

  • Cash payments made in lieu of receiving health insurance,
  • Holiday-in-lieu pay,
  • Sick leave incentive pay, and
  • Negotiability of rates.
