The purpose of this policy is to authorize and formalize guidelines on activities to recognize employees equitably across all Town departments. Activities shall fall within two broad programs, the Employee Suggestion Awards Program and the Employee Service Recognition Program, and shall complement all existing department recognition activities in place at the time of adoption of this policy.
