The City of Wichita provides for travel and training expenses for City employees and other individuals who are required and authorized to travel and transact official City business. Travel expenses will be allowed for attending approved professional meetings, conferences, or training sessions that promote the overall job knowledge and comprehension of the individual. With proper authorization, the City will provide reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred for approved travel.
